I am trying to locate the name of the Roman Catholic church my relatives would have attended.  They resided in Lisnaskea.  The parish is Kinawley.

Thanks

    Hi,

    Thank you for your message.

The only Catholic church that I can find reference to in Kinawley is St. Naile?s which was built between 1867 and 76. I am not sure if this is relevant to your ancestors or not however as you do not mention any dates..

  • The dates as close as I can tell would be from early 1860's to at least 1906 when my gggrandmother, Margaret Gilroy Cleary passed the farm along to her son,James Cleary. My gggrandfather,Patrick Cleary passed away in 1873.  (This information is from Griffiths Valuation).  I thought the church may have been St. Ninnidah's but am looking for any information .Thanks.
