My grandfather David Patrick Canavan was 13 in the 1901 Ireland Census Lurgan Urban, Armagh. His father was George Canavan and his mother was Ann Cooper. His siblings are listed as Elizabeth, Minnie and John. He married my grandmother Ellen Jane McIntyre at St. Peters Catholic Church September 2, 1921. He converted from Methodist I believe to be married in the Catholic Church. They immediately moved to USA.
Is there anyone with any family information on the Canavan family and thank you.

If you look on www.rootsireland.ie (a subscription site) there is a marriage record for a George Canavan and Ann Cooper in Co. Armagh in 1873. If you enter the details of this couple you can search for their children?s birth and baptism records and the marriages of their children where relevant.
