I'm trying to find any information about my 2nd great grandmother Margaret George and her family. From various census records in Canada, this is what I think I know:
Born: October 1854 - Rivory, Cavan
Parents: John George & Martha Anderson
Emigrated to Canada (final destination was Newboro, Leeds, Ontario): 1875
Siblings: Elizabeth b.1846; William b. 1851; Martha b.1853; John b. 1859; Sarah Ann b. 1861 & possibly Alexander b. 1865
Any help would be appreciated.

Civil registration of births in Ireland started in 1864. I found a July 7 1865 birth record for an unnamed male George child with father John George and mother Martha Anderson in Rivory. Very likely this is the record for Alexander.
See third record at the link.
The baptismal records for the older children are not on the subscription site Roots Ireland and from what I can find the records are likely held locally.
I tried to find the civil marriage record for John and Martha but was unsuccessful. Non-RC marriage records were civilly registered starting 1845 and since there was a child in 1846 possibly the marriage was held in 1844 which explains not finding a civil record.

Thank you Roger & Patricia
Roger, - It probably is the birth of Alexander - thank you.
And Patricia, thank you for the marriage information - I'm surprised that Martha's father is George - I had thought it was William. George is on the marriage record?
