    Hello

    Thanks for your message

Do you have a specific McInerney family that you need help in researching?

Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.

Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.

    Best regards Michael

I have a McInerney in my Irish ancestry from Ennis Clare.  My great great grandfather Thomas Brady b. 1833 married Bridget McInerney b. 1832.  They married on 9/1/1856 Ennis Clare.

Bridget's father was Patrick McInerney, carpenter.  Bridget  died 22/1/1890 Drumbigil, Ennis, Clare.  They had 6 children, one being my great grandfather Patrick  who emigrated to Australia in the 1880's.

One witness to their marriage was Michael McInerney, and sponsors to 3 of their children were John McInernery, Catherine McInerney and Edward McInerney.

Hope we can be of some help to one another, but lots of McInerney's out there!

    cheers

    Carmel
