My relative, John Barton, was baptized on April 30, 1820 in St. Flannan's Church in Killaloe. His parents were James Barton and Mary Lahiff. I am trying to locate information on John and Mary but have been unable to find any. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.
John married Catherine Reeves about 1843 in Killaloe. They had a son, James, in 1844 and emigrated to the U.S.A. around 1847. I do not have family information Catherine at this point.

The baptism of John Barton appears to be in the parish of Tulla and the address "Tulla Barrack"?
It is likely that his father - James Barton - was either in the British Army or local Militia.
John Barton married in 1843. His address Killaloe. The marriage may have taken place in the parish of Ballina which is across the river in County Tipperary - Parish record No. 772, or Catherine was from that parish?
