My great-grandmother Elizabeth Ennis listed her birth as 1853 in County Clare. No parish specified. Her Father's name may be Michael. And her Mother's name may be Bridget Denehan or Monaghan. The parish may be Balyna. She had a sister Bridget born 1929, another sister Rose born 1837 and possibly a brother James born 1842. Any information on Elizabeth (she went by Eliza), her parents and siblings greatly appreciated. Elizabeth and the possible siblings listed all emigrated to the USA. I don't believe her parents emigrated.

Thank you for your query to the message board. The parish of "Balyna" may well be Ballina which is located along the Clare and Tipperary border. The adjoining parish is Killaloe and the parish registers are availble online through the Clare Library website and the work that one of our volunteers has done to transcribe them.
The surname Monaghan is in Killaloe parish so it is a good place to start.

I would suggest that you check out some of the other sources in the link. I did not see any Ennis families listed.
