Does anyone have information re: Mary Nihil / O'Neil?---allegedly born in County Clare about 1834? She emigrated to Ontario, Canada and married Robert Keyes/ Keays. Daughter of Thomas and Margaret Simms/ Simons? Thank you.

i saw your query and thought that I would reply. Have you looked at the Tithe Applotment Books through the Clare County Library website? They were done in the 1820s and would help you narrow down the parish where Mary might have come from. In addition, they have other online resources that may assist you. If you find that Mary did cme from the East Clare area, please let me know and I may be able to assist you further.
