on ancestry the public member tree of the Forrest Family has the information.

Unfortunately, I get a message saying disc space exceeded when I try to attach it but if you don't have access to ancestry I could send it to another email address.

It is well worth a look as there are photos including one of Joseph himself. Maybe your local library or family history society has ancestry.

Thomas was born in Bantry Cork abt 1854 - parents Maurice Healy b? d 1906 and Eliza Sullivan b ? d 1859. he died 25 Dec 1925 aged 71 in Ireland

Great, thanks for response Col. Hugh died when I was only 9yo but I still have vivid memories of him talking and talking and talking. He was confined to a chair with severe arthritis ever since I first met him as a 3yo.

It would seem that he was a bit of a lad and family history has it that the family wanted him out of Ireland. He was always known as Tim, obviously because of his uncle the firebrand. He and Mary had one son Paul who was killed in a vehicle accident in the 70s.

Paul spent a fair bit of time with my parents and me when he came to Sydney from Maitland around the late 50s early 60s.
