  • Hi:

Many thanks for your query to Ireland Reaching Out.  A good place to start is at the Clare County Library website at www.clarecountylibrary.ie/genealogy.  There has been donated material put on the website courtesy of Jim McNamara for the Scariff area.  If you look at the right hand side, at the Donated Material tab, you can click on the Baptisms, Marriages and Deaths link.  You will be able to find it from there.  Also, Griffith's Valuation is another resource as well.  That was taken in 1855 in County Clare, and you might find the townland where your ancestors came from.  This is a huge benefit for your research.

The best of luck to you, and please feel free to contact if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards,

    Jane.
