Daniel Falvey had 3 sons who emigrated to Victoria, Australia between 1853 annd 1861. They gave their contact in Ireland as Daniel Falvey Farmer , Newmarket Cork.

Thier mothers name was Julia  either Seehane, Tehane or Lehane

John Daniel Falvey was born in 1837

Peter Falvey in 1841

Hugh Falvey in 1845

I have looked at the Griffith Valuations and found 4 possiblities.

1 in each of Abbystrowry, Clonfert, Caherlag and Inishannon.

 

Am hoping someone can help me narrow it down to one  Daniel.

    Welcome back!

    I checked Roots Ireland and found a baptismal record for Peter in 1839 at the Newmarket RC church. Also found Hugh in September 1841 in Newmarket. No address for the family was shown. The mother was Julia Leehane. I did not find John. Here is the link to the parish register. Maybe you can find John or other siblings. http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0086

    Assuming your Daniel Falvey was alive at the time of the Griffiths and leasing land, the one in Clonfert parish is the likely Daniel.

    Just knowing Julia 's surname started with L has helped me confirm the link to 2 other siblings who migrated to NSW.

    Julia born 1837 

    Margaret born 1848

    Margaret migrated in 1861 her sponsor was John Carberry and she married Nicholas Carberry. She referenced Daniel Falvey, farmer, Newmarket, cork on her immigration papers.

    Also the parish  film is much easier to read this time.

    You must be a very busy person answering queries for all the counties.
