Have you tried looking in civil records to see if you can determine what happened to Mary and Michael?s descendents? Civil records are available from the General Register?s Office in Dublin.Here is their website: http://www.groireland.ie/research.htm

I Knew 4 Gouldings Brothers Who Lived In Skibbereen Michael who Was Married To My Granaunt. Michael Died sudden Back In the1950's. He Had 2 daughters Eily Who Died Young and May Who Went To USA. Michael May and Eily Are buried In New Cemetery Skibbereen.

I will probably be able to find these for you if you want them but do not wish to spend a lot of time researching for information you already hold.
