I have been reseaching my family history from the Skibbereen and Baltimore area in southwest County Cork. I am focused on about 25 surnames - main surnames from this area are: Walsh, Minihane, Connolly, McCarthy, Collins, Leonard, O'Brien, Hegarty, and Sheehan.
Would like to make contact with others doing research in the Skibbereeen and Baltimore area - particularly on these surnames.

I am interested in the Hegarty and Lannin families in Abbeystrowry. On a recent trip to Dublin I was able to extract some C of I records for these families dating back to 1780. Would welcome contact from anyone else with these interests.
