I am looking for information on John McCarthy who married Mary Jane Garland. Mary Jane was the daughter of Andrew Garland and Mary Hurley. I have located a headstone in Aghada Cemetery and buried there are Andrew Garland who died in 1874, his two daughters, Kate Beazley who died in 1895 and Mary Jane McCarthy who died in 1937. Mary Jane Garland married John McCarthy, Stone Cutter in around 1888 and according to the 1901 Census their first 5 children were born in Aghada they then moved to Cork City. I am seeking any information on the McCarthy and Garland family.
