My Great Grandfather was John Flynn, married to Catherine (both born 1846). Not sure when they left for England but in 1881 Census they lived in Whitechapel, London. My Grandfather, Timothy was the eldest of seven children. A mother-in-law, Mary, was living with them at that time.
