My great grandmother, Ann Hannah Mulcahy arrived in Australia in c1866 on, we think The Ancilla, arriving Moreton Bay September 1866. She said she was 22 (two years later she said she was 21). So born about 1844 or 1845 (maybe a little either way). Her parents were William Mulcahy, a farmer, and Ellen Allen. In 6 of of 8 occasions, on her children’s birth certificates, she said she was born in Ballymartle, the other 2 just Cork. On her death certificate (information by her son, it says born in Ballinhassig). In the Irish genealogical site, you found a Mary Mulcahy baptised on 1st March 1844, sponsors, William Allen and Anne Courtney, parochial area Ballinhassig. any information would be greatly appreciated

Welcome back to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched on www.irishgenealogy.ie and found two records. The first, is the record you mention and likely Mary is your Anne Hannah. The second record was fourteen years later in the nearby parish of Innishannon. The same names for parents had a child named Ellen. Looks like William was a farm labourer or had a trade where he moved around.
