Hi,
I am searching for information and family members from the northwest corner of Antrim, the McMichael family. My family were primarily Catholic and I am hoping that being less common in Northern Ireland, I might find some existing relatives still there today!
Thank you for any suggestions about Catholic info from this part of Antrim.

The 1901 census for Co Antrim has 147 McMichael entries, of which 45 were RC. None in Ballymoney itself but some in the general area, particularly around Ballycastle.

11 McMichael entries in the current phone book for Northern Ireland. 1 in Armoy and 1 in Ballymoney. You could try contacting them:
(There will be other McMichaels in Northern Ireland but a lot of people are not listed in the phone book for privacy reasons).

Hi,
With the phone book link you sent, when I enter "McMichael", it says 'please enter a name and a location'. If I put in Ballymoney, it says it will cost me 1 credit. I wonder if you could copy the info you saw and do you have access to the electoral roll? If not, I am happy to pay for credits and start an account if needed.
Thank you!

Margaret,
I can look up the numbers free but I do not have access to the electoral roll without paying. So if you would like that information you would need to open an account with them. Here?s the two names and addresses. The search criterion I used was simply ?Northern Ireland? which is how I know how many there are in total.
