James Crowley, son of James & Johanna Tobin, travelled to USA, married there and then came Australia. I have found two of his sisters, here in Victoria also. For some time James & his family lived in the Bendigo ( Sandhurst) area. Living also in that area is one John Crowley, son of Cornelius & Catherine O'Driscoll. I have a legal document stating that these are related. James was baptised at Enniskeane on the 5th April 1836. and John was also baptised at Enniskeane on the 1st June 1827.
Does anyone know how these two men are related? or how I can work it out?
All of James & Johanna's children are baptised in Enniskeane and I have found three children of Cornelius & Catherine's there also.
What church will I be looking for? Is there someone working on a Crowley family tree in Enniskeane. The name appears as common as Smith & Jones.

Hi roshane
As you can see from the link below Desertserges is a Civil Parish in Co. Cork:
The records for the corresponding Roman Catholic parish of Enniskeane and Desertserges (also part of Bandon) begin in 1794. The only way you will be able to ascertain who, if any, of the Crowley family are related is to lay out the details of each, in the hope that, if they are cousins, the parents? names will mean something to you. On that basis you could search www.familysearch.org or www.rootsireland.ie for a record of baptisms of any Crowley children.
Best of luck with your search
