Visiting Cork end of March.for my 80th Birthday Really anxious to find anything about above 's Irish heritage I.e mine too. May be a connection with Bandon as above named as witnesses to a wedding there Fingers crossed Susan Fairweather nee Murphy

    John Murphy and Hanora Collins were married in Bandon on January 22 1835. They had a number of children baptized in Bandon:

    Hanora November 15 1835

    Margaret December 28 1836

    Dan  August 24 1838

    James July 27 1840

    Joha  (not sure if this is John or Johanna)     August 26 1843

    Mary Anne March 28 1846

  • On 01-Jan-1841*, A Michael Murphy and a Margaret Tobin married in Co. Cork in the Catholic parish of Kilnamartyra. David Tobin and Edmond Murphy were the witnesses. *The record says "date and month inferred."
