I am seeking information on the Burchell family from Bandon. John Jago Burchell was born about 1843. His possible sibling was Nathaniel. The family immigrated to New York from Bandon about 1850 - 1852. Any information about John, his parents, sibilings or other relatives would be greatly appreciated. We think his mother's maiden name was Jago. Thank you.

rootsireland.ie has a record of Joh Burchell born 1839 in Cork. (Mother's surname is not Jago)
rootsireland is a pay site so it will cost to purchase the record but it will give you his parent's names and the parish. I couldn't find Nathaniel.
I searched for baptisms/births Cork for Burchell (no first name) born 1840 + - 20 years and got 7 matches: John 1839 Thomas 1844 Michael 1832 Mary 1849 Barbara 1830 Julia 1830 Ellen 1858
The West Wood public member tree on ancestry has John's birth1829 in Castle Haven Cork.
The Tithe Applotments 1823-27 which are free to search have 5 Burchells in Cork including 2 in Castlehaven - 1 named John and the other with no first name.
If you got the parents' names you could search for children using the parents' names.
You could also try another post to Castle Haven.
