Michael:
I found a death index record for a William Vickery who died in 1919 in the area of Skibbereen and a 1928 death index record for a Julia Vickery in the same area. If you are interested in getting copies of these records. let me know and I'll explain how to contact the GRO.

Emmeline married a solider, John Sewell Trayner, in Medway Jan ? Mar 1910 (Vol 2a, page 1091). They are in the 1911 census at Shorncliffe Camp, Cheriton, Kent with a baby dau Lillian. It appears to have been a second marriage for John as there are 3 other children there with them, all born in South Africa (where presumably he was stationed at the time).

Death of William Vickery registered Skibbereen Apr ? Jun 1940 Volume 5, page 381; death of Julia Marianne Vickery registered Skibbereen Oct ? Dec 1928 Vol 5, page 296.
You can order a photocopy of the death certs from GRO Roscommon for ?4 per certificate. Put the place, year, quarter (where there is one), volume & page number on the application form (anywhere). Don?t worry about leaving some boxes blank. You don?t need to fill them all in if you have the reference details. http://www.groireland.ie/ You have to post or fax the form to them but they will e-mail the copy certificate to you if you wish. Tick the relevant box on the form.
Emily Elise Vickery married James Lowe in Trim Jan ? Mar 1895 Vol 2, page 893. This looks to be them in 1901:

and 1911:

Emily Elise appears to have died in Trim Oct - Dec 1913 Vol 2, page 659.

If you go to the later Ahoghill Antrim response, you will see he outlined the GRO process. (The system posted the message out of sequence).

Mike,
It might have been helpful to have put the years of birth/ages in your original post, to prevent people wasting time.
However are you sure that Emily Eliza Vickery was born in 1882? Do you have a birth certificate with that information? I cannot see any such birth registered in 1882, whereas I can see a birth for Emilie Eliza Vickery in 1872, registered in Skibbereen.
The name is not exactly a common name. How likely are there to be two women of that exact unusual name around the same time in the same area? I?d order the 1895 marriage certificate to see what her address and fathers name was to resolve it. (You may have noticed from the census the Trim woman does come from Co. Cork). Also Emmeline was born in 1882, so unless they were twins, that makes it pretty unlikely that another child will be born that year too.

Hi elwyn ,
I got the dates the wrong way round , emily eliza vickery was born 1872 and emmeline georgina vickery was born 1882. Both at Castletownsend, william vickery was their father born 1839 and their mother julia scholl born 1848 they lived in castlehaven, I visited the grave today of their sister rosalie fanchette vickery, at St Barrahanes church. Sorry for the lack of info in my earlier post.

Mike,
That?s OK. In that case, it looks as though you have solved what happened to all 4 of the daughters. 3 married and one stayed single and died locally.
I did look to see if I could spot any further children to Emmeline?s marriage to John Trayner but I can?t see any. No doubt they were posted somewhere else. I also looked for her death in Ireland, Scotland, England & Wales but couldn?t see it either.

Hi im looking on the 1911 census on genes reunited , found their marriage in 1910 , cant find them on the 1911 census ?
-
I am able to access the 1911 census via Ancestry and can find her without any difficulty. Emmeline Georgette Trayner aged 27, born Castlehaven, Cork. She?s in Shorncliffe Camp, Cheriton, Kent with dau Lillian aged 8 months, born Folkestone, plus the 3 children by her husband?s first marriage (Dorothy, Victor & Arthur). Her husband is not listed. That return appears to be wives and children only. Presumably their husbands were somewhere else on census night.
If you can?t find it, let me know and I?ll give you the full details.
