Hanora SCANNELL

My great grandmother, Hanora SCANNELL, was baptized on 23 Nov 1856 in the Parish of Castlelyons. Roman Catholic. Her father was Michael SCANNELL and her mother was Margaret NEIL (O'NEIL). Her Sponsors were John Redan and Ellen Neil. Her Townland was possibly Killawillin.

She went to Boston, MA, USA where she married James Doran who was born in Parish Tullaroan in Co. Kilkenny. They had 4 children. She died in Boston. She was buried in Malden, MA with her husband and most of her children.
