To Whom it may concern,

Hi my name is Cherie and i am trying to track my family tree but seem to have come to a dead end.

What I have been able to find so far is;

My G-G-G-Grandfather, John William Dennehy b. 1838? immigrated to Australia in approx 1860 with wife Deborah Healy b.7/5/1838. They married 15/12/58 in freemont cork. They had a son Cornelius Dennehy b.15/10/1858 in freemont. The baptism record has parents as Joannis Denahy and Debra Haly.

The son, Cornelius was left in Ireland with relatives when they immigrated and came out to Australia 22 years later.

I am hoping someone is able to help me find the parents of John Dennehy(Denahy), possibly the people that Cornelius was left with.

I have been trying to find school records on line that may have him listed, without success

Hoping you can assist me or suggest who i should contact, I would really appreciate it.

Cherie

please email me as i dont really know how to use 'posts', and not even sure that this will work
