I'm looking for any information related to my 4th great grandparents: Jeremiah Corkery (c1819-1887) and Catherine Sheehan (c1812-1896). See below for what I believe to be their marriage record and a birth record for their son John. According to their death records, Jeremiah's parents names were Jeremiah and Mary, and Catherine's were Timothy and Mary (no maiden names recorded).
Jeremiah, Catherine and their their four children immigrated to Wales in the 1860s and then all settled in Massachusetts, USA in the 1870s. The children included my 3rd great grandmother Margaret Corkery (1840-1911) and her siblings John F (1842-1908), Annie F (1858-1917), and Hanora M "Nora" (c1859-1884). There may have been at least one other sibling, Jeremiah (1857-?). Margaret married James E Canniff (1843-1900), who was likely from the Bandon area.
The only Jeremiah Corkery listed in Griffiths Valuation for Clondrohid parish is in Ardnacrushy. There is no Griffiths listing for Timothy Sheehan in the parish, but there is a Mary in Garranenaguppul.
Does anyone recognize these names or have any suggestions for finding additional records of this family? Thank you very much!

Hi Bridget
There is a baptism record of Catherine Sheehan with parents Timothy & Mary in Cork on www.rootsireland.ie/
There is also 1 for Jeremiah with father Jeremiah 1823 COACHFORD R C but mother is Joan Falvey.

Thank you, Col! The baptism record for Catherine fits with the time, parents's names and location in Clondrohid parish, and adds mother's maiden name and address inforamation, which is likely the townland of Glananarig; there is also a place just to the south of the townland called Glaunarig). This is great info! I can now look to see if there are other siblings listed in the records. I have had a pay-per-view membership with www.rootsireland.ie, which is being discontinued, unfortunately, but now I feel like regular short-term subscription might be worth it.
The record for Jeremiah is probably not my Jeremiah, but the only documention of his mother's name (Mary, no surname), is on his US death record, so it's possible that Mary is an error. I will check it out.
Thanks again for your contribution, it's very much appreciated!
