I have noticed that a Anne B Downey lodged the deposit for the assisted migration of my ancestor Michael Francis Barrett, his wife and two children from Cork to Sydney Australia in 1853. They arrived in 1855. I have no idea who this lady is or her connection to my Barrett ancestors.
I would appreciate any assistance in identifying this person.
