I found an Ireland civil registration index on family search for Hanora Connors in 1871 in Cork. It lists registration quarter 1871, registration district Cork, volume 10, page number 225.m The index is titled "Ireland Civil Registration Indexes 1845-1958" general registry, custom house, Dublin, FHL microfilm 101,048. Is there a way to get additional information of this cited record? My great grandmother was Hannorah Connors born (08/28/1871??). An ancestor of mine had obtained information from Hibernian Research in Dublin many years ago that indicated Hanora's parents were Morris Connors and Johanna O'Brien. I have also seen a Morris (or Maurice Connors with a wife of Johanna Malone and am wondering if there was possibly a mistake made years ago?? Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated

Go to www.irishgenealogy.ie. Hit the Tab for Civil Records. Search in the Cork registration district, 1871 for Hanora. I can't access the record currently. Let me know if you are unsuccessful in finding the record.

this is should Brien Hello. A distant relative had done some research years ago using Hibernian Research of Fublin. She was given the names Maurice Connors and Johanna O'Brien as Parents for my great grandmother Hannorah Connors born Cork 08/1871 I have recently had a DNA match for a descendant of a Bridget Connors 05/-1858 to Morris Connors and Johanna Malone I have seen this same couple with children John 05/23/1864 Ballynoe, Cork and Maurice 06/05/1867 Rathcormac and Johannah 05/25/1870 also Rathcormac I have found a birth record for Mary Connors to Maurice Connors and Johanna Brien 02/21/1874. I'm wondering if this could be the same Maurice (Morris) with different wives and if you know how I could try to find out? I have not found Hannorah's actual birth record anywhere other than the 1900 US census thank you, Debbie
