Spillane

I saw your tree on ancestry - very impresive work!

Did you know there was another tree House Family Tree which has John Spillane's parents and grandparents?

It has John born Ireland 1832 parents Denis and Mary Howran.

I searched births/baptisms on rootsireland.ie for John Spillane born 1831 + - 1 in Cork parents as above and got no matches but when Mary Howran was removed I got a match. By a slow process of elimination I got the parish - Castletown Roche R C. You may want to check rootsireland.ie but it is a pay site.

I tried to check the Tithe Applotments 1823-27 (free to search - just google it) to see if there were some Spillanes in Cork bu the site is down at the moment.

The House tree has the next generation as Dermot Jeremiah Spillane and Mary Dooley.

I suggest you try rootsireland.ie for theses also.
