I was interested in the XO article about the Irish Big Houses, and it had not occured to me to look at the Census of the house to see if my relatives were there on the night of the census,as I know that some of my ancestors worked in them. However could anybody tell me how I can look for the house on the census. There are two that I am interested in. Coolkelure House, near Dunmanway, & Castle Bernard in Bandon. I hoped that you could enter it & it would show the residents.I have also put the surname of the Earl of Bandon in, but it still shows as no matches.Any thoughts?
Thank you.

Ladybird:
You can only search by townland or name. Can you send the names of your ancestors who worked in the two houses. Thanks!

Earl of Bandon and his immediate household in 1901:

There were also assorted servants living in houses within the estate. (Gardeners, Gate Lodge keepers etc). They can be found here:

Same property in 1911:

I think this is Coolkelure House (home of the Carbery family):

1911, not sure the main house was inhabited:

The names were Newman, Webb & Crowley.
I have looked at the info you kindly sent me, but no luck I'm afraid. I just thought that maybe one of the names might show up.
My grandmother worked at Castle Bernard but she would not have been old enough in 1911 . It was just a thought when I read the article.
Thank you though for your help.
