My great grandfather, Thomas Foley was born in Glanworth 7 June 1840 in Moneen. His father was Michael Foley, his mother was Bridget Collins. They also had a daughter named Margaret. Tom sailed to the United States in 1859 or 1860. He settled in San Francisco. Any information about this Glanworth family would be greatly appreciated.

I checked Roots Ireland and it appears Michael and Bridget had two daughters named Margaret-- one in 1836 and the other in 1843 so we can assume the 1836 Margaret died young. I did not find any other children but you may want to search the parish register which starts in 1836. http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0054 Possibly there were children born before 1836 but records are no longer available.
I checked the 1901 census and there were no Foleys in Moneen.
