I am trying to locate a place recorded in Civil Birth registration for one of my ancestors. As best that I can read it it say "Ahareenah, Inniscarra".I cannot seem to find it in Griffiths.
Jeremiah Crowley b 31 August 1872. Father= Bartholomew Crowley , mother= Ellen Crowley formerly Ford (see attached)
I have marriage record from Inniscarra from 29 Nov1861.
Jeremiah had a few siblings: James Bartholomew (c1863, baptized 3 Mar 1863 Inniscarra), Mary (c1865) and Catherine (c1868), Annie Mary (c1870) I have not located their Civil records yet.
The children all emmigrated to the USA, Connecticut but possibly first to Massachusetts. I cann locate death records for Bartholomew and Ellen.
I would love to try to locate thsi place!
Many thanks-

Hello Kellslax,
Spelling variations will occur. These all relate to your location query

Thank you- I wondered if it was a phonetic variation. I did find one mention of it in a posting in a newspaper as a land notice related to the property of John Bowen Colthurst who lived in Dripsey Castle.

Hello Kellslax,
Not a problem. If you open up the archival records - text records (21) you will see the name variants that have been used and the sources they appear in. You picked one where it was fairly easy to identify.
