My G.G.Grandfather was Timothy Flynn (abt. 1819) he married Mary Hays (abt.1814) in Kilbrittain & Rathclareen Parish RC. in 1839. Son, John Flynn, my G. Grandfather was Baptised 1845 in Kilbrittain (Area Cork & Ross RC) he married Catherine Doyle. (b.Kerry?) in Shoreditch, London in 1863.- making him only 17 at the time!!). The family must have emigrated to London England sometime before 1861 re Census for 1861. Wondering if any of these family names relate in your area.?

Hi . .
Your dates are very diffacult for Irish records from that time . . BUT . . not impossible . .
here is a MAP of that Parish . . . . http://www.logainm.ie/en/8189
Then . .
the earliest Parish Records . . . are here at . . . http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0064
these records are very diffacult to read . . due to age, wear & tear . . . but not impossible . . .
You may . . with patience and perserverance . . find your Ancestors . . and a good magnifying glass . .
Good Luck with your search . . .

Just found your message from long ago....
I do have an England Census of John and Mary (nee Hays) Flynn as living in St, George in the East, London. John first being recorded as living In Whitechapel in 1861 at age 15. . living in Shoreditch by age 17, Aldgate at age 35 and St. Gearge in the East at 45. Would he have retired back in Ireland.?
My Grandfather Timothy Flynn (B. 1866 ) appears to be the oldest - Patrick Flynn is listed as (B. 1870) added are siblings. Cornelius - Denis - James - Cathrine - Daniel and Mary.
These are all under the name Flynn and not O'Flynn - do you think it is the same Family?
