  • Dear Sheila

Just checking up on the messages. What are looking for specifically on Hornibrook, Burchill etc? These are all well known Church of Ireland ( Anglican) names and I can access the parish registers to give you any assistance you may need.

    Best Regards

  • Hello, I too have Burchill ancestors. That doesn't seem to be a very common name. My Elizabeth Burchill married David Barry in Bandon 11 Nov 1832 and had son Edward Barry in 1833.  Elizabeth's father was Edward Burchill of Bandon. Have not been able to find too much more on them until the 1850's when I picked Edward up in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales working on the railroad.

  • My 3rd great grandparents Edward Hornibrook and Frances Burchill were married 22 August 1820 Kilbrogan Parish Christ Church. The record I found does not list parents. I've looked everywhere. Any suggestions on where I may be able to find their parents?

    Thanks for the help.
