  • hello, i,m looking for a kelly family from kidorrery near cork, my 2 step brother,s farther was a kelly but did,nt have anything to do with them, they ended up in an industrial school in upton, one came to live with us in england the other died in cork, please help me to trace the father

    Hi Marie,

    It may be an idea to contact the General Register?s Office in Dublin where they hold civil records. If your step brothers were born in Ireland there would be a record of their birth there, if you can find these it will give you their father?s name. Here is their website:

    Perhaps you could also try looking in local phone books to see if there are any Kelly?s still in the area:
