    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

www.irishgenealogy.ie is a free Irish government site which has church records for the Diocese of Cork and Ross which includes Bantry. I located an 1828 baptismal record for  Jerh Healy in Bantry. Not sure if this is the correct record.

  • Dear Susan

I also am related to Jeremiah Healy. I sent of my mother’s DNA and it says that she is related to the Healy’s very closely. As she doesn’t know her father I assume he was a Healy and I know the Healy’s lived in Gurranabraher at the time of my mother’s conception in 1953. I believe her father lived in St Anthony’s Rd during that period and was a widow left with many children. If you would know anything about a relative of yours that this may sound like I would really appreciate any information you could give. Many thanks.
