Hello
I am hoping to find some information about the life of my grandfather Timothy Connolly who was born in around 1899 in West Cork - in Caherogullane near Bantry.
We never knew about Tim except that he died in South Wales in the early 1950s many years before I was born.
I want to trace the information for my father John who was one of Timothy's sons and who never knew much about his life in Ireland.
According to the census of 1911 Tim was living at home with older brothers Jerry and Denis and younger siblings Michael, Hannah, Hanorah and Helena.
If any of the family remain in the area, or if anyone knows how their descendants can be contacted we'd be very grateful.

Thank you for your message. The Valuations office in Dublin (http://www.valoff.ie) will have a record of the land registry from 1855 to modern times. This will assist in seeing what happened to any property the family may have owned.
