My great grandmother Honorah Gleeson was born in Co Clare abt 1840.  We have a copy of baptism certificate 1840, parents names Connor Gleeson and Mary Lynch.  Honorah immigrated to Australia in 1863 on the same boat as her future brother in law Peter Sexton, she was in her early 20s.  She married Michael Sexton Nov 1863.  She died in Colac Victoria Australia 1918.  I would like more information about her family - parents, siblings.  A search of Griffith Report 1854 shows three Connor (Cornelius) Gleesons, are they the same person if not which one is Honorah's father?

In relation to the Griffith?s Valuation, they could all be the same person ? it would be difficult to say for sure. If they are all in the same parish area it would be my assumption that they are one person, especially given the name. It would be another story if we were talking about Patrick Ryan or another very numerous Clare name.

In relation to Honora?s siblings, have you checked www.rootsireland,ie to see if there are any brothers and sisters baptismal records there? You should also check out the Clare Local Studies Centre website:
