Around 1865 Timothy (1817?) and Bridget (maiden name unknown) moved from Conna to Grague/ Kilworth. Had 12 Children
The 8th of those, Patrick (March 15,1860) my 2nd Great Grampa, founder of the Lexington Independent, in Lexington, Massachusetts, USA. In 1906 the Boston Globe did an article on him and was able to get some more information. I am a member of ancestry.com and as much information and I pop in I am still not getting anymore information for Timothy Flynn nor the name of the children. I think I have a few... Bridget, Maggie, Michael, John and Patrick.
Timothy died around 1904 I believe in Graigue, Kilworth, County Cork, Ireland.
Any information would be most helpful or a direction to head in :0)

Terri:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I did some searching and found the following information. First two links are the 1901 and 1911 census records for the family. In 1901 and 1911 Timothy and Bridget were in Ballyderown townland in Kilcrumper civil parish. Timothy died in December 1903 so Bridget was living alone in Ballyderown in 1911. I looked for Bridget's death record. It appears she died in 1917 but the image was the wrong image.
From what I can see on Roots Ireland, the maiden name for the mother Bridget was either Swayne or Savage. The baptismal record transcription for Patrick shows Swayne but other records show Savage and I also located a possible marriage record in Kilworth for Timothy Flynn and Bridget Savage.
I would suggest that you get a short-term subscription to Roots Ireland and search for the baptismal transcriptions for the children. I found fifteen Flynn baptismal record transcriptions where the father was Timothy and the mother was Bridget.
The records below are as follows: 1901 and 1911 censuses, Civil death record for Timothy (you will have to sign-in to see the record), parish registers for Conna and Kilworth, transcription of Patrick's baptismal record and finally a transcription of a potential marriage record.
Let me know what questions you have.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction, actually leading me by the hand to the location :) Might help for the road blocks on my mom's side too.

I live in the United States.
Timothy Flynn and Bridget Savage Flynn were my great great grandparents.
They lived in Conna.
Just 2 summers ago, I learned about Patrick, Ellen and Elizabeth. Michael Flynn came to the United States and he married Mary. He died in the influenza epidemic in 1917. His son, Patrick, was my grandfather. James Flynn, son of Patrick, was my father.
I have visited Ireland twice looking to make a connection with my Ireland ancestors. I believe the only one to emigrate to the U.S. was Michael--so Patrick, ellen and Elizabeth stayed in Ireland.
Timothy and Bridget were alive in the 1901 Census. In the 1911 Census, Bridget was listed as a widow.
I would love to make a connection with my ancestors. If anybody knows of their descendants, please contact me.
Bridget was 16 years old when she married Timothy. I feel a deep connection to this woman & would love to know more of her. Believe it or not, she was listed as a fruit dealer when she was in her 80s. Strong and resilient. I so look forward to making a connection.
