Hello! Just found this amazing site. Trying to track down any information about my 3xgreat-grandmother, Catherine Coakley who was born approx. 1826 in Kinsale. She was tried in Cork in 1846 and transported to Tasmania where she later married. I think she had a brother, David, born about 1805. He was also transported in 1835 (tried and convicted in England). I know nothing about their parents, other siblings or where they lived and don't know where to start. Any help would be massively appreciated. Thank you, Sallie

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I went to www.irishgenealogy.ie which is a free Irish government site which has Kinsale RC church records.
I found a January 6th, 1823 baptismal record in Kinsale for a Catherine Coakly. Possibly this is for your ancestor. I did not find a record for David.
