I am seeking earlier info on patrick joseph fox's ancestors -- he was born in manorhamilton in 1878--believe his father was edward fox--he became a roman catholic priest and seems to have left for america in september 1911 to work in the diocese of alton, illinois.

There was a Edward Fox family in Lisnabrack townland in Killasnet civil parish which may be your family.

There are three different Patrick Fox civil birth index records for 1878 in the Manorhamilton district so I'm not sure which belongs to your Patrick.
Do you know his mothers name?
