Visiting in early August. Grandchildren of David Brislane, Patricia Lynn and Timothy Breslin. Looking forward to possibly meeting family still living in the area. Hoping to see Brislane field, O’Brien’s pub, etc.

Tim:
If you have not done so already, could you complete our form regarding your trip to Ireland https://www.irelandxo.com/meet-and-greet
Can you give us more details on your family? Is this your family in 1901?

Hi Roger
Yes that is my family in the 1901 census. We will be in Cork for 3 or 4 days. In addition to Liscarroll we will go to Newmarket where my Grandmother Hannah McCartie was from.

Thank you for the link to O’Briens. looking through the photos and captions from 2019 point to point some familiar names stand out. My Great Uncle James Brislane knew Captain O’Brien well and I believe one of his brothers, Michael, married Kate O’Brien.
I noticed the McAuliffe name on one of the photos and they are probably related to William Brislane who married Annie McAuliffe. Rodney Martell, my cousin and the Grandson of William Brislane visited Licarroll a few years ago.
I am really looking forward to seeing Liscarroll. My sister, Patricia was there back in 1976 and will be making the trip with me this August as well.Tim Breslin
