Did you visit the library and find any information about Fitz/Corbett. I actually found a slaters directory of 1846 which gives addresses of a grocery, hardware and oil business for John and Patrick on Main street

Hi again,
Read trough all local journals and old familybooks, a lot on JJ Fitzgerald and Desmond Fitzgerald but nothing at all to be found about your Fitzgeralds, there could have been a connection somewhere but for what I can figure out there were at least 3 different Fitzgerald families in Mallow.I must check up on the grocery as I think I found that somewhere else before, will get back to you again
