Searching for Birth of John Augustus Healy, 1818 Cork ( tailor). Father Patrick Healy,b:cork (tailor). John Augustus married Ellen Barrett on 2 Jan 1844 Tower Hamlets London. Ellen Barrett was born in Cork 1821 her father was Edward Barrett b: Cork.
John & Ellen Had 5 Children Margaret Chambers Healy b:1845 Bristol, Eleanor 1848 Westminster London, John Augustus 1851 Westminster, Mary Honoria 1856 Westminster, Stephen Edward, 1859 Westminster. Lived in Westminster London.
John A (1818) had a brother James 1821 cork (tailor) who married Susannah Rich b: ( Fethard, Tipperary ?) in 1841 Bristol England. Daughter of Benjamin Rich.
James & Susannah had 5 children Benjamin 1842 , Stephen 1844 Margaret Mary 1846, Honoria 1850, & Margaret Chambers Healy 1852. all born in Bristol England.
In the area where John Augustus (1818) lived Covent Garden ,Long acre there are quite a number of Healy's a lot of them from Cork could be family ties !

Hello Mick,
The parish records for cork are divided between two websites the irishfamilysistoryfoundation and the irishgenealogy.ie . I looked at both with the info you gave. I only found a few john Healys in that timeframe but only one whose father was patrick.
This record is on the irishfamilyhistoryfoundation website which is part of rootsireland. Its free to join and trawl through and you only pay to view an actual record.
If you start broad and gradually refind your search by adding father'sname you will get to know the site very quickly.
Anyway this record is listed in parish of Donoughmore Roman Catholic. When you get down to the place where it says "parish/district" click on the little triangle to see all the parishes.
