I have been trying to trace a George Chrisley (born circa 1796) and Bridget McCann (born circa 1806, husband and wife, who had several children in Ireland (Patrick born circa 1830, James born circa 1831, Edward born sometime between 1833 and 1836, Ann born circa 1836 and Jane born circa 1837). They had several more children after they emigrated to Frontenac County in Canada circa 1838.
They were Roman Catholic.
There is a story that son Patrick worked in the mines in Cork at a young age for a penny a day to earn money for the family to come to Canada.
I am uncertain as to exactly which parish my ancestors would have been in. Can anyone help me find records for George, Bridget and/or their children (marriage, birth, etc.). I have already searched extensively, but unsuccesfully, in the online NLI Catholic parish records, including using the indexes provided by FindMyPast.com and Ancestry.com. Are there parish records that were not scanned for the NLI? Cananyone help me track down these ancestors?

Re: Chrissly & Mc Cann
Like you I have searched all possible records and tried several variants of the name, found some Chrisley's in county Limerick in the correct time frame but not the people we are looking for. What is your source that they came from Ireland and/or Cork?

My sources that they came from Ireland are several Canadian censuses and death records. It is oral history in the family that the we're from Cork. I searched all of Ireland using the indexes to the parish records. I used wild cards and variants. I suspect that the parish records for them are lost, unfortunately.
