Looking for infromation on Eugene Francis Lyons

The closest matches I could get for a birth/baptism for Eugene Lyons 1860 on www.rootsireland.ie/ were: 1863 Roscommon, 1856 Mayo & 1856 Limerick; none in Cork I'm afraid.

There was 1 match for a marriage of Eugene Lyons in all counties: 1898 in Limerick but spouse was not Ellen.

There is a Kevin Lyons family tree on ancestry which has Mary's parents as John Lyons and Mary Murphy Dohill. I couldn't find their marriage record on rootsireland but did find John's baptism record in 1814 in Cork and went through the parishes to find it was Rathcormac RC.

Closest birth/baptism for Mary Dohill was Mary Dahill 1822 in Cork (parish not Rathcormac)

If you purchaes the record for John  (& Mary if you like) on rootsireland.ie/ you will get the fathers' names & the parish to help you keep working back. You could then look on the Tithe Applotments 1823-37 (freely available online) in Cork for the fathers to see where thy lived.

My great grand uncle was Eugene Lyons. He was born in Derrynanool, Kildorrery (Marshalstown) Co. Cork in 1878.

He appears on the 1901 Ireland Census. However he does not appear on the 1911 Census. I cannot find any information on him after that year.

His father was Daniel Lyons and his mother was Johanna Condon
