Looking for information on
Richard Kavanagh (born 1796) who married Nora Smith. They came to Canada from Fermoy, Ireland.
They settled in Douro, a small farming community outside peterborough, Obntario Canada.
They had a son Richard Kavangh(born 1824) who married Joanna Harrington. According to the family he was a notary public.
They had a son Richard Kavanagh who married Mary O'Brien.
It appears fromthe canadian census information that all 3 generations lived on the same farm..
I am looking for any information about their original location/parish or any documents from Ireland..

I've got some info on the kavanaghs coming to canada however the family dropped the k when they originally came to canada so in a lot of census records it may be Cavanagh. I dont have much info further, open to collaboration.
