Maurice Shea was found in the census of 1870 in Albany New York. He was a brick moulder, his wife was Mary O'Connell and they had12 children. My grandfather was one of the twelve kids. his name was Arthur Shea.  He came from county of Cork.  Can you find anything on him or his wife Mary O'Connor.

I looked in the two main sources for Co. Cork church records: www.irishgenealogy.ie and www.rootsireland.ie and could not locate a baptismal record for an Arthur Shea son of Maurice.

Do you have the year of birth for Arthur? Did he marry Mary O'Connor in Ireland or the States?
