Lord lansdowne estate

 According to family history, this McCarthy family

Thomas and Ellen (Higgins) McCarthy lived on Lord Lansdowne's estate and were helped to come to Canda ,somewher around 1840 ,when he became governor General They lived in Cove of Cork - near Blarney Castle.

They had 4 sons..Pat, Mike, Dan and Jerry and 3 or 4 girls. Pat settled in Missouri.The others settled around the Grafton/Peterborough area..Ontario Canada.

Jeramiah married Margaret O'Hara.She too was born in Ireland and was related to the Anglins and O'Shannessey's.
