Looking for any information on my great-great grandparents Daniel Terence Morrissey born 1853, Cork and Mary Bridget McNamara, born 1856 in Cork, they both migrated to New Zealand where they died in 1945 and 1935 respectively.
Daniel parents were William Morrissey and Ellen Morrissey nee Dumphrey,
Marys parents were Terence McNamara and Bridget McNamara (nee O'Donoghue). We have no information in regards to birth and death certificates so anything would be truly grateful.

The church parish records for Co. Cork are divided betweentwo websites. www.irishgenealogy.ie (free government site which covers south cork) and www.rootsireland.ie covers north Cork a website that's free to join and you get some free searches. Pay per view of record €5
You should find your people in one of these locations.
Just put in one name at a time and gradually refine your search by adding a spouse name.
Keep an open mind on dates. On irishgenealogy dont put in any dates at first.
Remember most emigres were uneducated, had no documentation of any sort, no birth certs, and hadn't a clue what age they were, as nobody celebrated birthdays back then. So keep an open mind.
