Sullivan/Hyland

Ireland is divided into both civil parishes and Roman Catholic parishes. Clonsast is actually a civil parish in Co. Offaly. This civil parish falls under the Roman Catholic parish of Clonbullogue. I just found this site tonight and was pleased to see the "Sullivan/Hyland" subject line and someone else searching this family line. Patrick Sullivan (Elizabeth Hyland) are my 5th Generation Great-Grandparents.  My line traces directly back to Patrick via the following lineage:

Patrick --> Michael --> Francis --> Charles --> Harry --> Myself

I have been researching my "Sullivan" lineage for the past 4-5 years and have been unable to secure any names/information prior to Patrick (when he arrived in Oneida, New York; his son, Michael moved to Belfast, NY and all family, up to and including my father, lived in Belfast, NY).  I am currently attempting to find information about Patrick's parents, grandparents, g-grandparents, etc.

Any information which anyone might have would be greatly appreciated!
