THomas Bourke 1845-50
This is my great grandfather who I am researching. I have found his Army record together with his marraige and death certificates. All records show that he was born in Michelstown during the period 1845/50 (confliting dates on all records). His mother was Mary Finnicane his father Edward Bourke( stationed at Fermoy with the army). I know that by 1856 he had emigrated to Plymouth Devon.
I cannot find any baptism or birth record and would like to know the local Roman Catholic and/or Church of Ireland for that area in order for me to contact the vicar/father of the church where he might have been baptised.
