Married 1811 Diocese of Cork & Ross, county Cork, Ireland to Grace MADDER (found in Irish Records Extraction Database at ancestry.com) * born 1791 (found on ancestry.com message board info by aaastewart151: daughter of Rev. George MADDER and Grace Frances REEVES)

Sailed from Cork, Ireland 12 Feb 1820 arrived 1 May in Table Bay, Cape Town, South Africa with ~62 settlers to South Africa on the ship ‘The Fanny’. Settled at Klein Patrys valley, Clanwilliam, Cape Province, South Africa.  He returned to Ireland and on 23 Sep 1823 he brought out a further 352 Irish settlers and his family from Cork on the ship the ‘Barossa’.

Oldest son,  Henry Madder, died at George Madder's residence 21 May 1832 aged 18 years.

I believe John Ingram returned to Cork after about 1840, but I haven't confirmed it yet.
